Description
Ability and willingness to teach a variety of PE classes including, but not limited to, Weight Training and Recreational Sports. Possible teaching assignment in Health Education.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: ● Hold or be eligible for a Standard Idaho Secondary teaching certificate with a PE K/12 endorsement required and a Health 6/12 endorsement highly preferred.
● Physical Education and/or Health teaching experience and/or student teaching experience at the Secondary level required.
● Bilingual, ability to communicate in Spanish highly desirable, but not required.
● Demonstrated ability to work with lower socioeconomic and migrant students preferred.
APPLICATION: Each applicant shall file the following with the District: a) Completed District application form, b) Copy of a current Professional Placement file from College or University and/or current letters of recommendation, c) Copy of Professional Certificate, d) Copies of official transcripts of all College or University work, official transcripts of all College or University work are required at time of employment.
SALARY: Placement on salary schedule depending on education and experience.
