The Select Health Production Control Team is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to round out its production control staff. This position provides an opportunity to grow and advance with a great company and interact, on a daily basis, with the business areas and the Information Systems staff to proactively manage and coordinate daily batch activity. The successful candidate will be involved with the planning and configuration of the daily batch schedule utilizing automated batch scheduling software. Work hours, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications for this position include being self directed and motivated. Possess good interpersonal communication and analytical skills. Must be detail oriented. Have two years of experience with computer hardware and software. Familiarity with an automated batch scheduling software application is desirable. Work experience in the area of computer operations or batch processing and/or production schedule planning.

· A general understanding of automated batch processing software tools and techniques and reporting capabilities is desirable.

· Ability to work effectively and cohesively with customers and staff to determine needs, specifications, feasibility, and priorities for batch processing requests and projects.
· Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals, policies and procedures to plan and develop daily batch processing production schedules
· Ability to analyze batch failures to plan restart/recovery of batch jobs and related/dependent processes based on established policy or procedure
· Ability to consult with applications and development staff to solve problems, and plan and design new batch production processes
· Ability to configure and modify automated batch scheduling software in support of batch job schedules
· Ability to analyze batch processing problems or malfunctions and provide issue resolution or recommendation
· Ability to serve as data backup media manager, ensuring that all backup activities are successful and media tapes are accurately rotated and inventoried, including recordkeeping and compliance with security procedures.
Must be available to support after-hours on-call requirements in support of batch issue escalations, and be flexible to work a varied work schedule in support of a 24/7 staffing requirement.
